The Kingsbury May Festival is run entirely by volunteers and we are always grateful for a little extra help.
Whether you have an hour to spare on the day, can lend a hand during the set-up weekend, or would like to be more involved behind the scenes, there are plenty of ways to join the team.

You’ll be joining more than just a team for one event, we’re a supportive community:
When you fill out the form, we’ll get in touch, answer any questions and keep you up to date with activities you can join.
We’re a friendly, supportive and social bunch.
We get together throughout the year, to put on other events such as:
- A grotto for the Christmas Fair
- Good Friday walk – including the infamous egg throwing competition
But also have great fun as a team throughout the year getting creative and a social bike ride every summer.
Would you like to:
- Join as a new committee members to help shape and organise future festivals – we meet from September monthly, on a Friday 7:30pm at the Church Rooms, Kingsbury.
- Volunteer to help during festival set-up – from the Thursday to Sunday, even if you can only spare an hour or two it all helps. You’ll be well fed too.
- Support on the day with things like manning the raffle, theme zone activities and general assistance on the site. Any time you can give is welcome.
You do not need any previous experience, just a willingness to get involved and be part of the community.
